Master of Science in Nursing with Education Focus

Finally done after two years of highs and lows. Welcome back life. Time to clean the house now, no excuses.

Thank you Thom, Rhiannon and all my friends who have supported me through this whole ordeal.

Much gratitude to my classmates, mentor and educators who I have met and learned with through this wonderful journey.

Working evenings

Working evenings allows me to come home to a quiet house (something you need after working a 12 hour shift). I had a wonderful time walking my beloved dog Pupperz around the block with a moonlit sky. Rhiannon wasn't home tonight, she is at Erika's house having a sleepover. I miss her. Later this morning I will be working on classwork. The time is near where I can wake up and do anything I want. I am tired of having my syllabus dictate my schedule.

Good news today!

I finally received my grade for my practicum, the project that determines if you get your masters or not (plus passing all the other classes). I received full points...and received an A in the class.

I am going to continue all this schooling and finish my education certificate and will soon begin the nurse practitioner degree starting this fall.

Thom and Rhiannon, thank you for all your support and letting me vent on you guys. It has been a long road, but this road has been scenic, with more places to explore.

Monday is usually my bike riding day

After posting the last file for my practicum, I went on a bike ride with a friend to McDowell. Unfortunately, the start time of 1000 is becoming too late due to the warm weather. Many flowers have died off since I was there a month ago. Long gone are the fields of purple Lupine. Time to start biking earlier to beat the hot weather.

I made chicken tortilla soup for dinner...one of our family favorites!

Gregory called yesterday, it was nice to hear his voice and that he is hanging in there. We love him and miss him.

Interesting day

More school work (I think I am finished), a drive-by TB reading at work and the grocery store. I was going to make chicken tortilla soup...but Thom agreed that we should order out so we can watch a movie together. I am glad they are back safely from Prescott, I missed them. Rhiannon did awesome in her tournament, I wish I didn't have to miss it.

Tomorrow I officially finish my Master's Degree (but I still have three classes for my certificate in nursing education). I have been going since August of 2008. I think I will go for a bike ride to celebrate.

I will be having a bunch of fun today!

On my agenda, I will be working feverishly on my classwork, cleaning the house, going to the grocery store and washing my allergy ridden dog, Pupperz.

I would rather be up in Prescott with my husband watching Rhiannon and her team play soccer at the tournament.

Prescott

Hey!

We are in Prescott right now. Last night we went to the restaurant here and it was AMAZING! No one was there so we got it all to our self's.
After I hanged out with the girls then we got our bathing suits on and went swimming till 10:00 pm. Dad walked in the casino. But he said it was smokey.
Anyway, all the girls are on the same floor.I hope I get at least 2 goals.
